Minehead hosted Clifton Robinsons at home in what ended up being a one sided occasion, impressing their club sponsors Tamlyns of Bridgwater who were invited down for the team photo.

Neither teams started off all that well but Minehead still looking fairly dominant, managed to get the first breakthrough through a well taken short corner with Captain Taylor Buller slotting home.

Minehead held possession for much of the first half, with the defensive line and keeper Wilson clearing out any impending danger from the Clifton side. Working the ball well around the field Minehead managed to maintain pressure, and some smart finishing from the strike force of Nick Bennett, Archie Marsh and Luke Barker put the game beyond reach before the half time whistle.

Starting the second half with a 5-0 lead, gave Minehead the confidence they required, and they were soon going to increase this lead and help their goal difference for the season. The dangerous trio of Bennett, Marsh and Barker, baked up by some great midfield play from the likes of Rob Speed, Rory Capel and Chris Weetch made sure the match would not be contested. Marsh and Barker managing to secure a hat-trick each with a brace from Bennett.

With the game all but finished, Rory Capel decided to get in on the action for what would be his first goal for the 1st XI after a well worked move and tidy finish.

Minehead Man of the Match was Chris Weetch, for his solid midfield work and distribution efforts.

The club top scorer table is really starting to hot up with Marsh taking the lead with nine goals for the season and Bennett one behind with eight.
