Match Report | Minehead A: 0 West Dorset A: 2 Off the back of 2 recent wins, Minehead A were looking to continue with current form and strengthen their place in mid table as they took on West Dorset A at home. Minehead started the brighter of the two sides even though they were a player down throughout the whole of the first half. They were soon made to pay for missed opportunities as West Dorset went 1-0 up midway through the first half, off their first real attacking move. Minehead had a shot cleared off the line and with Luke Barker and Mark Bolton posing a continued attacking threat, the home team were unlucky not to go into halftime level. The lack of players began to show in the second half as West Dorset created more chances and finally put themselves 2-0 up within the first 10 minutes. Archie March arrived midway through the second half to bring the home team up to their full allocation of players, however the damage was already done and the away team hung on to a 2-0 victory. An afternoon to forget for Minehead. Man of the Match: Luke Barker Minehead: Luke Barker, Mark Bolton, Dom Bowden, Mark Collins, Robbie Garwood, Archie Marsh, Will Pring, Simon Strong, Steven Thompson, Ashley Tisshaw, Mark Swallow |
