Match Report | Minehead A: 4 East Devon B: 4 Minehead A took the trip down to East Devon for the second time this season as they took on East Devon B in a hard fought contest. Minehead carved an opening in the East Devon defence almost immediately with Shane Heale finishing tidily. Minehead continued to press and put pressure on the East Devon defence leading to a well-deserved short corner. Heale finished well and converted a second, completing his hat trick, after 25 minutes of the first half to put the away team 3-0 up. East Devon got one back, before Minehead restored their three goal advantage through another well worked bit of play and simple finish for Dylan Howell at the back post. Minehead went into halftime 4-1 up, still knowing there was plenty of work to do. The away team got off to the worst possible start to the second half as they conceded two quick goals to put East Devon right back into the hunt at 4-3. A smartly worked short corner then drew them level with 20 minutes still to play of the second half. Both teams continued to make chances as the game ebbed and flowed, but neither team was able to make that decisive play and grab the winner. The game finishing 4-4.
