Match Report | Minehead B: 3 Mid Somerset A: 4 On the day that England put Australia to the sword in the rugby, Mid Somerset A and Minehead B played a much more even game in the crisp Well's sunshine with Minehead taking the early lead with a goal from john Clegg followed be another in quick succession from Daz Meecham. Minehead looked to have the upper hand finishing the first half 2-1 to the good. The second half started well but with a few tired legs in midfield and Tom panton sat on the bench after wearing the ball to the elbow, a few cracks appeared and Mid Somerset scored 2 goals giving them the lead. Minehead soon replied with another goal from Daz to level the game but after a run of umpiring decision going against Minehead, Mid Somerset were awarded a penalty corner that was scored giving them the game, but although the results so far this season haven't shown it Minehead B is playing well as a team and it won’t be long before the results come.
