Match Report | South East 2 Minehead B: 1 Yeovil & Sherborne B: 6 With the anticipation of a first win for Minehead B playing Yeovil and Sherborne B at home, knowing both sides had not yet won a game this season, but Yeovil had 2 draws to their name. With the news coming through that players were needed to fill places in the A team, Minehead started the match with a bare 11 and to our surprise were faced with a team that didn't look like it should be in the position it was in the league. Yeovil showed strength and determination which soon over powered the home side. Minehead’s defence fought hard for the duration of the onslaught, and it showed to be inevitable that Yeovil scored 6 goals piling on constant pressure. A ray of sunshine fell down on the pitch as Tom Moody managed to slot home his first goal for Minehead, although this was just a consolation at the end of the day. It did however earn Tom Man of the Match for a solid performance. Although disheartened the Minehead team can take a lot from the game, they played with real grit and were unfortunate to face an unusually strong opposition.
