Match Report | Minehead B: 1 Taunton Vale E: 1 Minehead B had the late fixture away to Taunton vale E with a 16.30 pushback, the game started well for Minehead with some good movement off the ball and it wasn't long before they had the first shot on target with a good save made by the Vale keeper. Minehead finished the first half the stronger side and went into the break 1-0 up thanks to a penalty corner scored be Captain Ryan Dean. Minehead keeper Ryan Jones, making some invaluable saves in the first half to keep the clean sheet. Unfortunately, the second half couldn't have started off worst for Minehead as Vale broke early and scored to level the game at 1-1. Vale with this new found confidence broke again and amassed a great deal of pressure the young Minehead goalkeeper, Ryan, making a crucial triple save to keep the scores level. Minehead regrouped and imposed their own pressure on the Vale side, but a breakthrough was not possible and the final result was a draw. The game finished with minehead picking up their first point of the season and a mention has to go to man of the match, Kieran Jones for his efforts with continuous running on the wing.
